I have a beautiful home to share, quiet, quaint and cozy. I am a 51
year old semi-retired librarian who is working at building a small
online rare book business at home. I am looking for someone who is
reliable, honest, stable and who can provide verifiable personal
reference and verification of employment or enrollment in university or
college. I don't want somebody who is in the party-hearty mentality,
the craziest it gets here is on a Friday night in the backyard with a
little fire and a few friends for the apres-work get together. SMALL
get-togethers would be okay if it's agreed upon before hand...I really
don't want a bunch of people that I don't know getting drunk and
roaming around my home...had THAT situation as well and it was a
nightmare. I don't have overnight guests and I want a roommate who also
doesn't have overnight guests. Had that situation once and it was a
complete nightmare. My home is a safe, quiet sanctuary and mutual
respect is one of the most important qualities. I do not want someone
who has substance abuse issues; neither current, recovering or just on
the weekend use. The rate includes a private room with some very basic
furnishings, digital TV and high-speed ADSL to the room, all utilities,
garage parking, use of the common areas, yard, patio, barbecue, etc. I
provide all food, laundry consumables, all paper and cleaning
supplies. I won't be providing Filet Mignon as a regular item
however...grocery costs have to be within reason and in sync with the
monthly rate. I DO NOT provide maid service...I expect that the person
sharing my home is intuitive enough to pick up a vaccum cleaner or mop
and help out with the household chores, I shouldn't have to point
things out and get on someone's case...especially an adult. I have a
large yard and a large amount of gardening so I need help with the
daily maintenance of the interior of the home. I am reasonably
easy-going as long as the agreed upon terms are respected and
maintained. I have one overly friendly cat who loves everyone except
other cats, and I have a very large dog who will absolutely adore you within about 10 minutes.  Anyway, if you are interested please drop me a
